I am sharing my story let anyone out there know –you are not alone. There have been a horrific amount of teenage suicides due to bullying. It just breaks my heart to know what those family members are feeling. No one should ever get to a point where they feel entirely helpless. I want to say to anyone out there feeling that way, take it as a learning experience to educate others. (more…)

On August 24, 2010 I was honored to attend the soft launch party for Proud Ally.  Proud Ally is a new grassroots organization that promotes straight support of equal rights through visual media. Our mission is to create and collect images and video that speak for the social change we are all fighting for. We also connect allies to organizations such as MENY, GetEQUAL, Courage Campaign, etc, so that we can all join the LGBT community in collective action, in both online and offline activism.
