http://news.yahoo.com/:

MILWAUKEE – For students entering college this fall, e-mail is too slow, phones have never had cords and the computers they played with as kids are now in museums.

The Class of 2014 thinks of Clint Eastwood more as a sensitive director than as Dirty Harry urging punks to “go ahead, make my day.” Few incoming freshmen know how to write in cursive or have ever worn a wristwatch. (more…)

from: http://www.boxofficemojo.com:

Two movies set in the Arabian desert caravan through this Memorial Day weekend. Sex and the City 2 cavorts on over 6,200 screens at 3,445 locations, while Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time rubs off onto more than 5,800 screens at 3,646 locations.

Sex and the City 2 got a jump on the weekend with its Thursday launch, making $14.2 million. That ranks as the sixth highest-grossing Thursday opening ever, edging outTerminator Salvation‘s $13.4 million on the same day last year. Sex 2‘s figure includes $3 million from its midnight opening at 2,200 venues, which was greater than its predecessor’s $2.5 million at the same point. Kim Cattrall as Samantha Jones, from left, Sarah Jessica Parker as Carrie Bradshaw, Cynthia Nixon as Miranda Hobbes and Kristin Davis as Charlotte York in New Line Cinema's comedy, " Sex and the City 2," a Warner Bros. Pictures release. At the end of the first Sex and the City movie, Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda rediscover the signature drink of their more youthful days:

“Why did we ever stop drinking these?” Miranda wonders after taking a sip of the Cosmopolitans they made famous during the television series’ six-year run from 1998 to 2004.

“‘Cause everyone else started,” Carrie replies.

Like the girls’ pouf skirts, Manolo slingbacks and Fendi baguettes, the Cosmo has indeed gone out of style, a victim of its own popularity and cheap, nasty knock-offs. (more…)

So much has been said about Sex and the City: The Neverending Story, so we’ll keep it short and sweet. Whether you’re mixing up cosmos and shining up your Manolos for the SATC 2 premiere this Friday or writing off the whole enterprise as a bloated parade of materialistic caricatures, you’ve got to admit that the exploits of these four fictional females have deeply affected the social and cultural landscape of New York. Let’s take a look back at how the show has changed life in Manhattan for the better—or worse. (more…)

Oh my Gaga! Here we go, Gleeks: The creators of “Glee” have revealed the songs that will be part of the upcoming Lady Gaga and Madonna-themed episodes of the FOX series.

Creator Ryan Murphy told EW.com that Lea Michele will do a stripped down version of Gaga’s “Poker Face” and the cast will unite for “Bad Romance.”

EW.com also reports that the cast will also get decked out in costumes inspired by her outrageous fashions. “I do know that we’re all different Lady Gagas, and at one point I am the Kermit the Frog Lady Gaga,” Michele told EW. “I saw a picture of the Kermit the Frog Lady Gaga with a Post-It on it that said ‘Lea.’ I was like, oh, great. Everyone else has incredible Lady Gaga outfits and I have that one.”

Also coming up is the all-Madonna episode of “Glee,” which will be released as an EP on April 20. The digital-music service iTunes not only lists the songs that will be performed, but reveals that Michele’s former Spring Awakeningco-star Jonathan Groff (who guests on the series) performs in four of the numbers. WEEK IN RECAP: Neal B Covers the Official Oscar Party on the East, Law and Order Shoot, Hair, and more!

What a week!  I swear this stuff ONLY happens in New York!

New York City Neal B Style!

New York City Neal B Style!

Here’s a recap of this week for you!

  • New Opportunities and New Events! I officially become part of the ArtofTalk.tv family! I am on board with them as a web-video entertainment & events correspondent.  So tune in to see all the fantastic content on their page (and of course Elisa’s amazing editing skills put to work!). Press release here

  • Monday’s “Miscast”. The week started off with going to Miscast 2010 is a musical presentation of Broadway stars singing songs from roles for which they would never be cast (for example, last year Alice Ripley belted Sweeney Todd’s “My Friend”).  Cast included: Mo Rocca (The Daily Show, Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me! on NPR) and will feature songs by Raúl Esparza (Company), Sutton Foster (Thoroughly Modern Mille, The Drowsy Chaperone), Montego Glover (Memphis), Ana Gasteyer (SNL alumna, The Royal Family, Wicked), Marin Mazzie (Kiss Me, Kate, Ragtime, Passion), David Miller (Il Divo), Aaron Tveit (Next to Normal, Wicked), and Tom Wopat (Catch Me If You Can, Tarzan). Here’s the article Here are a few pictures from the event

  • My Faceoff with Facebook.  The “F” word began my faceoff with Facebook.  My account was banned (hopefully temporarily).  So much for freedom of speech!  I should have learned by now! Click here for the full story

  • “Law” in Jersey.  Thanks to On Locations Vacations, we got the tip that “Law and Order: Special Victims Unit” would be willing in Fort Lee, New Jersey (right over the bridge). Law and Order: SVU is a favorite show of ours and having already saw the production team in action in NYC, we decided to pay a visit to the set.  Surprisingly. we were the only outlet there.  Maybe it was because it was cold?  My hunch was because it was Jersey!  No one wanted to cross the bridge! For the video and pictures click here

  • Nude and Nature. Elisa and I went to the village for a brand new art installation, which is getting huge buzz!  Brian Reed’s “Through the Heart of It All” combines artistic nudity, spirituality and nature for a beautifully done masterpiece.  For more information go to: For pictures and video, please click here

  • “Hair” today, gone tomorrow.   The Broadway revival cast of Hair is going to London (don’t worry- amazing replacements are coming in!) so Elisa and I were there to say farewell to some of the most amazing performers on Broadway!  THANKS ELISA FOR THE TICKETS!!  Sitting with the stars and fans, the show was purely raw, filled with intense emotion.  Click here to see some pictures/videos from the stage

Why Me? =(

The other day, one of my friends thought it would be funny to write the “F” word on my Facebook account status while I stepped away from the computer.  It was up for only a minute or two when I saw it .  I then removed it from my status. About two hours later, I tried to log onto to Facebook account and I was told my account was disabled.  I lost my pictures, network contacts, friends, and my fan page.

I have asked around and THIS IS HOW YOU CAN HELP:

* I HAVE BEEN TOLD THE MORE PEOPLE HELP OUT, THE BETTER CHANCES I HAVE OF GETTING MY ACCOUNT BACK **
** ANY OF THIS CAN BE DONE ANONYMOUSLY **

1.  E-MAIL.  Write  Facebook on behalf of me -kind of like a recommendation letter.  They want to hear why I deserve my account back.  They want to know that this won’t happen again, and what I am like.  Make sure you put my e-mail (Bwayrockz@yahoo.com) and also my screen name: Neal Equality Bennington. Their e-mails are:  disabled@facebook.com,  appeals@facebook.cominfo@facebook.com,  appeals+ngq0zsr@facebook.com,  warning+oplfdpiz@facebookmail.com.

2.  CALL.  Again, basically they want to hear why I deserve my account back.   Facebook:  650-543-4800.  Then dial either  extension “5” or “7” or their press line:    (650) 543-4811

ANY HELP WOULD MEAN THE WORLD TO ME!!!!!

Sad Face
