For four performances only — Sept. 1-4 — the stars of the Bravo reality series “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” will join the cast of Off-Broadway’s My Big Gay Italian Wedding at St. Luke’s Theatre.
Teresa Giudice, Ashley Holmes, Jacqueline Laurita, Caroline Manzo and Lauren Manzo will assume the roles of the Wedding Officiator, Connie Scuccifuffio, Toniann Naso, Angela Pinnunziato and Maria Pinnunziato, respectively.
Dina Manzo, one of the stars of seasons one and two of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” and a producer of Gay Italian Wedding, will make an introduction prior to each of the four performances.
Following the Sept. 1 performance will be a celebration of the opening night of the “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” stars. A limited number of premium tickets for that evening’s performance will include access to the party. A portion of the proceeds raised from tickets sales to the party and from every ticket sold for the Sept. 1–4 performances will benefit Marriage Equality New York.
“Just when you thought the hair couldn’t get any higher and the yelling couldn’t get any louder, here come the housewives,” stated producer Manzo. “Everyone has a so much fun at this show. Audiences laugh out loud, it’s got an important message for everyone and the money raised from the ticket sales for these four performances will benefit such a terrific cause. So when I asked the ladies to be a part of it, they were thrilled to come on board. This is one wedding party you are not going to want to miss!”
