Neal B at “A VERY MARY HOLIDAY” Benefit Concert with Broadway Stars and Celebs!

It was a late birthday present but as you know I am extremely humbled by people who go out and share their talents. I felt so privileged to see MANY talented people working together for two great causes: The Ali Forney Center and Broadway Speaks OUT.  This event was put together by incredible people and I urge you to donate your time, love, money -whatever!  It was great to see so many friends there and see this glorious turnout.  I also felt humbled to speak with not only the performers but co-founders and boyfriends Anthony Hollock and Marti Cummings and their parents.  They are a testament to what love really is.

Below are the pictures and video from the night’s festivities:

The Ali Forney Center and Broadway Speaks OUT are teaming up for A Very MARY Holiday to benefit their organizations LGBT causes.

The Ali Forney Center (AFC) was started in June of 2002 in response to the lack of safe shelter for LGBT youth in New York City. We are committed to providing these young people with safe, dignified, nurturing environments where their needs can be met, and where they can begin to put their lives back together. AFC is dedicated to promoting awareness of the plight of homeless LGBT youth in the United States with the goal of generating responses on local and national levels from government funders, foundations, and the LGBT community.

Broadway Speaks OUT is an online talk show hosted by Martin Gould Cummings. This informative program provides viewers with an inside look at Broadway, current events, and the LGBT community.

Broadway Speaks OUT is also a concert series that brings innovative and exciting music and theatre in support of the LGBT rights movement. Each concert features a variety of Broadway performers who use their talents to fight for equality. Every concert benefits an LGBT charity and/or organization.
